Bridesmaids Dresses!

Happy Monday! It’s a new week and time for a new blog post.

I thought today I would chat to you about choosing your bridesmaids dresses and share some beautiful options that cover a wide range of prices.

It’s so tough choosing the perfect dresses! You’re dealing with multiple opinions and you want the dresses to suit your wedding but for your bridesmaids to love them too. We are all so different and have our own style, which is why mix and match has become so popular in the past few years. Bridesmaids can pick a dress that they really love and feel comfortable in, while the bride can set some guidelines so that it still fits with her ideas.

If going for a mix and match style, I’d suggest a few tips to make it easier.

Have something in common amongst the dresses. Perhaps they are all the same colour but different shapes, or different shades but the material is the same. I would also suggest buying your dresses in the same shop as this makes it a lot easier to match them up.

Don’t be afraid to be different, dark colours work in Summer and pastels work in Winter. I really love navy for a summer bridal party, it’s a flattering colour and works beautiful with a pale pink bouquet and accessories.

For more affordable options have a look online and at high street shops. Not only do these dresses tend to be kinder on the pocket, they also have lots of different styles that can really make your wedding stand out.

There are also some great options available on Etsy, that have been tried and tested and passed the quality check. Always keep an eye out for reviews and feedback, especially photos that past buyers have shared to be safe when ordering.

Now, to share with you some of my own favourite styles.

For me, Jenny Yoo is an all-time favourite for bridesmaids’ dresses, although on the higher end of my own personal budget, the quality is amazing, and the dresses have such a wide range of styles and colours. Also, they share so many different ideas for anyone looking for a mix and match.

This mahogany colour Sylvie dress may be one of the most beautiful I have seen. It comes in 7 different colours too.

In Ireland Jenny Yoo is stocked at Covet in Powerscourt Shopping Centre, The Suite in Rathgar and Forever Bridal in Belfast. Prices can range from €290-330.

The next bridesmaids dress I really love, that would be on the higher end of my own personal budget are Ghost London bridesmaids.

They also do a beautiful satin style dress, and they have such an elegant and timeless feel. I particularly love the oyster colour and the Sylvia dress. Currently on the website for £180.

Ghost London bridesmaids’ dresses are stocked in The Suite in Dublin. Price range €260-275.

The next designer I love is from New Zealand and unfortunately not stocked in Ireland, however they do ship worldwide, and their dresses are just stunning. They have a really boho feel and they do really unusual styles and colours that wouldn’t typically be associated with bridesmaids’ dresses.

Each style can be ordered in a wide range of colours, and I particularly love their colours Toffee, Blush and Plum. Take a look on their website to see yourself all their amazing options.

Now, for the bridesmaid’s dresses that would be slightly more budget friendly, but none the less amazing quality.

Renz Bridal is an Etsy store with over 5,000 sales and a 5 star rating. They do the most beautiful velvet dresses, but also cover some pretty and different colours and styles. The prices range from €85-€130.

Have a look through some of their fabulous options.

I adore this velvet green dress that’s priced from only €87.90.

For those who love the silk slip dress style I have to say SilkStyleCreations on Etsy do amazing quality and priced dresses. The colours available are plentiful and they do many different lengths. Have a look through their options.

Their prices are very reasonable too for this style dress. Ranging from €60-€100. Nadine has over 340 sales and a 5-star rating. She also hand makes these dresses, so they are made with lots of love and care. I really love this Florian Silk blue dress for only €79.99.

I am going to finish up with one of my all-time favourite bridesmaids dress stores and it is Irish. Folkster do some of the most beautiful options, and they also would be my top choice for a top and skirt combo. Their skirt quality is just amazing, and their colours are so different and pretty.

My favourite would have to be the Sarena Skirt in Dusty Blue for €119.95. A skirt and top combo are a really great way to have a unique bridal party and add a jumper or throw and you’ve the perfect winter bridesmaids look.

I really hope you found this blog helpful! If you did please share with anyone you may know looking to get bridesmaids dresses and I would love to know in the comments your favourite designer.
