My 5 favourite Bridesmaids styles

My first style post! I have been wanting to post about this with unlimited characters for quite a while now.

These are my top 5 favourite bridesmaids styles at the moment, and while I may change my mind every 5 minutes on what I love the most these have been forever favourites.

First, where it all began. The green velvet dress. I think these dresses are just so elegant and timeless. If you’re having an Autumn or Winter wedding they will never go out of style. There are some stunning options in Folkster, Jenny Yoo and Renzbridal.

From Left to right:

Renz Bridal – Etsy €115

Jenny Yoo - Ellis dress in Emerald green - $295. Jenny Yoo is stocked in Covet in powerscourt Townhouse center in Dublin and The Suite, also in Dublin.

Folkster - This dress is the Lori Gown in Forest green - €149.95.

The next style is one of my more recent loves, but the feelings have been very strong. If you follow me on Instagram you would have noticed the progression from velvet obsession to silk obsession. I like to say the materials change with the seasons! These dresses are so beautiful and add a really modern, different twist to a bridal party.

From left to right:

Amsale Bridesmaids – Chloe Gown in Slate, (also available in numerous colours). $280 (€255.03)

Ghost London – Bella Dress £245 (273.15) in Oyster.

Leave her wilder bridesmaids -Ricky Gown $330NZD (€184.71) in Toffee (worth noting these dresses come in all sorts of colours).

Third, Another style I’ve loved forever. It’s so flattering and suits every body type (in my opinion). The cowl neck dress.

From left to right:

TH&TH Athena dress in Blush £175. I’ve worn this dress and its so comfortable and light, and available in plenty of colours.

Bec & Bridge – Moon Dance cowl dress in wine. $300AUD (€180.29). So beautiful.

Next! another new love of mine, and it is ivory bridesmaids dresses. To me they are just so classy and I can’t get enough of them. If it’s not really for you, they could also make great day 2 outfits.

From left to right:

Shona Joy – Core cocktail Dress – Ivory $280 (€255.10).

Ghost Bridal – Sylvia dress in ivory £225.00 – (€250.80).

And finally, A style I love is some beautiful embellished dresses. I think these really add something special to a mix and match bridal party, especially around Christmas, and adds something really different to your bridesmaids dresses.

Needle and Thread – Midsummer Lace Gown in purple €530.

I hope you enjoyed these and maybe even got some ideas. The trends in bridesmaids dresses are changing so much as brides are now going for more non traditional styles and it's great to see. I love seeing the different personalities coming through in the dress choices.
